It might come as a shock to you, the 2015 Top Grossing Games include some you might not even have thought 2015 Top Grossing Gamesabout. For example, because of all the advertising they have done in the past, you might think that World of Warcraft is the top grossing game. That is actually a bit far from the truth. In terms of PC downloadable games, League of Legends is actually at the top.

According to CNBC digital gaming sales hit a record of $61 billion in 2015.

The biggest increase in the 8% jump from 2014 was Xbox and Playstation's increase in digital downloads. Digital console game sales were up 34% last year earning around $4 billion. U.S brick-and-mortar stores slip 13%, down to $5.3 billion. On the not so surprising side mobile gaming surged 10% to $25 billion. As expected the big moneymaker was PC-based gaming pulling in $32 billion, over half of the total sales in 2015.

Personally, I thought Hearthstone would be on this list. I really thought that it was a game bigger then most of the others, and maybe I got my information from Blizzard Entertainments. There are a few of the mobile games, which I would have thought would have made the list, but some come as no surprise, since they do advertise on TV. I am also surprised that MyVegas isn't one of the top mobile games considering all the promotions by known athletes, and by how many daily visitors we get to this site for it.
