Rift Leveling Guide 1-65

Rift Leveling Guide 1-65I have been playing Rift now for almost 4 years, and any previous Rift Leveling Guide is pretty much wrong. It’s nearly the end of 2015, a few years past the 2011 release date and the game has changed so much that I don’t think that any Leveling Guide is true at this point. For that matter I am not sure they even offer 1-65 leveling, like we are going to teach you in this Rift Leveling Guide 1-65.

NOTE: The time frames mentioned are withOUT XP potions. Taking them can speed up your time immensely.

Rift Leveling Guide 1-65

When the game was first released, leveling 1-50 took 4-7 days depending on the person playing it. Now however using a simple leveling guide, there is no reason that you shouldn’t be able to level 1-65 completely in that same time frame.

You might need to use some Rift maps, and for that, there are some maps which were from 2011. None of the expansion maps are listed however.

Builds

Let’s start with Builds. In order to level the fastest to 65, it’s ok to use a standard build. You can use one of the pre-made builds, or create your own. If you’re new to the game, it’s perfectly acceptable to use a pre-made. Once you get into the game, you can even change it if you want, sliding from one build into something more customized. I usually prefer to make my own, catering to the ways I like to play, and I will usually have several builds.

I like to make builds which have multiple uses. For example I like to make a dedicated tank, a dedicated healer, an over-powered dps, with touches of healing, a solo build – this usually uses a pet, and on occasion a support build. A support build usually does a bit of damage but also makes everyone else more effective in killing and taking damage and/or works as a backup healer.

Rift Leveling Guide

For the purpose of this guide, I am not going to give you specific builds, nor specific leveling areas. But I AM going to suggest you have at least 2 different builds which you learn well. You will need them both to level faster. One should be a solo leveler build, which uses a pet to hold aggro while you heal it and take it down. You will understand in a moment why you’ll want this type of build. This content is for members only. One last important item to note here. Always log out in a capital city. There are 4 to choose from, depending on your level and faction. As you are off line, you will gain “rested xp” which offers a bonus to your leveling speed, when you do level.

That does it for the Rift Leveling Guide. I hope that you find following the build and guide that you are able to level 1-65 in as little as 5 days – just like I can. If you can’t play as long, then expect to level in about 7-9 days. But if you follow the advice as I have written it, then you will speed level.

WARNING: I saw a guide which mentioned using the patron’s only leveling potion. It does not increase leveling by 40%, but rather decreases the leveling speed.

If you want to become a patron, and don’t want to spend $15 to do it, or waste 4500 or so plat, you can use this trick to do it for less then $10 a month (as low as $5/month).
