Call of Duty: World at War Custom Loadouts (builds)

The custom character classes in this guide provide you with loadout templates (aka Builds) you can use to create characters that are proven winners for the game Call of Duty: World at War. All these loadouts have specific skills and are constructed to help in certain battle scenarios.

MP40 Deathdance

  • Primary Weapon: MP40 (use dual magazines)
  • Secondary Weapon: .357 Magnum
  • Primary Grenade: Fragmentation
  • Special Grenade: Tabun
  • Perk 1: Special Grenades x3
  • Perk 2: Camouflage
  • Perk 3: Extreme Conditioning
  • Vehicle Perk: Ordnance Training

This load out is good for the fighter who wants to be light on his toes and keep moving around the level and the double magazines provide extra ammunition in case you’re surprised. You can use this class as an excellent recon-force to get behind enemy lines, which is what the Camouflage perk is for, and provide you with information. I use the special grenade Tabun gas for situations when the enemy is grouped close together and the Ordnance Training to help in tank battles when turret reload is so effective and important.

Wreck the tank

  • Primary Weapon: PPSH (aperture sight)
  • Secondary Weapon: MP40 (double magazines again)
  • Primary Grenade: Sticky Grenades
  • Secondary Grenades: Smoke Grenades to provide cover
  • Perk 1: M9A1 Bazooka x2
  • Perk 2: Camouflage
  • Perk 3: Reconnaissance
  • Vehicle Perk: Ordnance Training

This is my tank (armor) killing custom character class that’s perfect for not being seen by tanks, yet with Reconnaissance you have a good idea where they’re at all times. Use the Smoke Grenades to help your teammates take on the armor and win, while the Ordnance Training is once again for tank to tank battles.


  • Primary Weapon: Browning M1919 (with the Bipod)
  • Secondary Weapon: m1897 Trench Gun (with bayonet)
  • Primary Grenade: Tabun Gas
  • Secondary Grenade: Smoke Grenades
  • Perk 1: M2 Flamethrower
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Second Chance
  • Vehicle Perk: Ordnance Training

This custom class allows you to cause the ultimate destruction on the battlefield, with a weapon for every situation. Your Browning is for medium range and long range targets once mounted, while the Trench Gun will allow you to take out the garbage at close range, along with the bayonet for sneak attacks and in your face confrontations. Use the flamethrower and grenades to confuse things on the battlefield and keep the enemy guessing. This class can be vulnerable at times, so the Second Chance is so you have a final weapon to complete the chaos.

Jack of All Situations

  • Primary Weapon: MP40 (with double magazine)
  • Secondary Weapon: M1 Garand (with Sniper Scope)
  • Primary Grenade: Flares
  • Secondary Grenade: Smoke Grenades
  • Perk 1: M2 Flamethrower
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Extreme Conditioning
  • Vehicle Perk: Ordnance Training

This custom class is my jack of all kills character, the nice mixture of choices allows me to control the battlefield at any range, and gives me options in any situation that might arise during combat. The MP40 is a nice choice for moving around quickly, the Garand is good for medium and long range, while the Flares and Smoke Grenades allow me to confuse and lead the enemy.
